2019 Harmony House Volunteer of the Year

Harmony House Child Advocacy Center held their Annual Holiday Appreciation Multidisciplinary Team Meeting Training Luncheon in December. Harmony House recognized Kanesha Mattox, this year’s Harmony House Volunteer of the Year Award. Wendy Risner, Harmony House Volunteer/Outreach Coordinator stated, “Ms. Mattox, has been invaluable to the services Harmony House provides for alleged victims of sexual abuse and assault.

While she has currently left her volunteer position to pursue greater achievements, the 89 hours she gave to Harmony House made a tremendous difference. Her skills in organization and many hours of data input and victim support and evaluation allowed Harmony House to achieve greater outcomes with those victims served. Ms. Mattox was presented with a plaque that identified her as this year’s Volunteer of the Year. Harmony House is always in need of volunteers. Community members can lend a great deal of assistance to the daily operations at Harmony House. Please call (706) 245-8700 and ask for Wendy or go on-line to harmonyhousecacsac.org to learn about the many volunteer opportunities with Harmony House Child Advocacy Center.
